Hostetler Family Homes is a family-owned custom homebuilder serving the Akron-Canton area. Our company was founded in 1983 by Darrell Hostetler and his father, Ervin, with the goal of providing exceptional quality and personalized service.
At Hostetler Family Homes, we value the importance of building legacies from a strong foundation. Company owner Josh Hostetler spent his childhood on construction sites with his dad, Darrell, and worked on carpentry crews during his high school summers. Josh obtained his business degree from The Ohio State University, and later his MBA in Finance. Josh is actively involved in the National Association of Home Builders and serves locally as the 2023 President of The Building Industry Association.
Josh spent a portion of his career working as a Finance Director for multinational corporations. While there, he gained great appreciation for the excellent communication, integrity, professionalism, and well-designed systems and processes that made those corporations successful. When Josh took the helm at Hostetler Family Homes, he saw a deep need in the industry for those same qualities. We have defined our entire business around those elements to provide an exceptional product and personalized, boutique style, customer experience.
